Acrylic resin binder plays a significant role in plastic gravure inks used in cigarette packaging manufacturing. WQ-2408, a film-forming methacrylic modified copolymer emulsion, is specially formulated for water-based printing ink on plastics for cigarette packaging, providing durability, safety and high-quality prints. Its properties make it ideal for specific applications in the production of high-quality cigarette packs.
1. BOPP Film Printing: WQ-2408 acrylic resin-based inks are used to print brand logos, anti-counterfeiting patterns, and decorative designs on the outer BOPP film of cigarette packs. These inks provide strong adhesion, high gloss, and durability, ensuring the prints remain intact during handling and storage.
2. Inner Lining Foil: Although primarily made of aluminum, the inner foil may require printing with acrylic resin inks for enhanced heat resistance and chemical stability which could be provided by SEIKO PMC706’ counterpart, the WeiLi WQ-2408 acrylic resin. This resin ensures the prints withstand high temperatures during production and resist fading when in contact with tobacco.
3. Tipping Paper (Water-Soluble Paper): The acrylic resin water-based inks are suitable for printing on plastic-coated tipping paper, offering safety, flexibility and heat resistance. It is helpful for maintaining print quality during high-speed cigarette manufacturing processes.
4. Anti-Counterfeiting Labels: Acrylic resin inks are used to print security features on plastic labels or transparent windows. The high transparency and wear resistance of WQ-2408 ensure clear, long-lasting prints that enhance brand authenticity.
5. Special Effects: For premium cigarette packaging, WQ-2408 acrylic resin-based inks enable the creation of metallic or laser effects on plastic materials, adding a luxurious finish to the design.
