Amino-modified waterborne saturated polyester resins represent a breakthrough in eco-friendly, high-performance industrial coatings. By integrating reactive amino groups into the polymer backbone, these resins achieve enhanced crosslinking density and thermal stability , resulting in coatings with >3H pencil hardness, short-term heat resistance, and MEK resistance exceeding 200 double rubs. Their waterborne formulation ensures ultra-low VOC emissions, aligning with global environmental regulations. When combined with melamine-based crosslinkers and acid catalysts, the system delivers high gloss retention and high adhesion on metals, making it ideal for automotive components, appliance finishes, and industrial machinery requiring durability, chemical resistance, and aesthetic precision.
Application Guide
◆ After it is neutralized with N, N-dimethylethanolamine( 5~6% of the resin), it can be directly diluted with water.
◆ Add methylated amino resin (20%-30% of the resin) for baking and curing. The baking temperature is above 120°C. The baking conditions and paint film properties are related to the amino resin used. When it used with the fully methylated amino resin, an acid catalyst(0.5-1% of the resin) must be added, and the baking temperature must be above 140°C.
◆ It is a water-dilutable saturated polyester resin, which can be infinitely diluted with deionized water.
◆ The pH value can be adjusted with organic amine or ammonia water, and the viscosity of the emulsion will increase with the increase in pH value.
Storage Condition
Store the product in a cool and dry place, the recommended storage temperature is 0~40℃. The shelf life is one year. After the expiration date, if the test passed, it still can be used.
