A red iron oxide primer and topcoat formulated with water-soluble epoxy ester resin WL-172B features a high-performance, single-component, quick-drying, rust-preventive composition designed for application on ferrous metal substrates. This versatile coating delivers corrosion protection for both indoor and outdoor steel surfaces while maintaining enduring resistance to rust and degradation across diverse metal applications. It is compatible with various top-coatings, including water-based and alkyd/oil-based finishes. The primer exhibits exceptional hide properties, smooth application, sag resistance, abrasion resistance, and unmatched durability.

Product Properties:

Self-emulsifying process, no emulsifier, excellent water resistance and corrosion resistance;

This product can be oxidized and cross-linked to form film, which can replace the traditional solvent based alkyd and epoxy ester resin;

Paint making process is similar to that of traditional solvent based paint, the resin can be grinded;

Good mechanical stability and storage stability.
